The international fair that opens the season for the US market, since 2001, returns on 17 and 18 July to New York.

From Wednesday 17 to Thursday 18 July 2019 there will be the 38th edition of Linea Pelle New York, the international event dedicated to the world of leather with 100 selected exhibiting companies from the main European countries.

The event, hosted by Chelsea’s Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan, is the rendezvous of the international trade fair calendar which allows for a complete preview of the new trends for autumn-winter 2020-2021.

This year’s trends combine two important contemporary themes: ecology and eroticism understood as a need for pleasure and pleasure. Attention to eroticism stems from the media attention to which we are unknowingly submitted through social networks; while that for ecology responds to the concrete need to favor a circular economy far from waste and waste harmful to the planet.

Not by chance, even in this edition, most of the exhibiting companies are certified according to international standards regarding quality, environment, health and safety, social responsibility, product, origin and traceability.

Lineapelle New York, in addition to being a privileged observatory on the world of leather, is also an opportunity to attend seminars and events. As part of the two-day event, there will be moments of reflection and debate on market developments and upcoming trends.
