The 98th edition of the International Exhibition of leathers, accessories, components, fabrics, synthetics and models presented a summer of 2021 in the name of simplification.

The 98th edition of Lineapelle Milano was held from 19 to 21 February 2020, the appointment of the international trade fair calendar that allows you to have a complete view of the new trends for the summer 2021. Despite the inevitable absence of oriental exhibitors and buyers caused by Coronavirus, beyond all expectations, the event registered a 2% increase in visitors.

In addition to the positivity of the entrances, this edition will be remembered for the celebration of a fashion in harmony with the environment, far from excesses and complications. The password is simplification. The materials designed for the summer 2021 revolve around three inspirations: the enhanced basics that offer a technology capable of simplifying complexity in innovative solutions; the new romanticism where the colors give life to surreal brilliance and glare and, finally, the manual processes that favor the birth of a retro style reinterpreted in a modern key.

Furthermore, during Milan Fashion Week and in conjunction with Lineapelle, Questione di Pelle was set up at Spazio Lineapelle, an exhibition project that celebrates leather and tells its beauty and versatility through the creations of Gianfranco Ferré and the garments made by designers Bozart, Cecilio Castrillo, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Mario Dice, Diego Dolcini, Ely.B, Massimiliano Giornetti, Simone Guidarelli, Mani del Sud, Antonio Marras, Italo Marseglia, Simone Marulli, Sermoneta, Ventaglidautore, Vivetta and Alessandra Zanaria. A real dreamlike path, through which each designer interprets the skin according to an absolutely personal vision of creativity.

The appointment with the next edition of LINEAPELLE Milano is from 23 to 25 September 2020 with the presentation of the autumn / winter 2021/2022 collections.
