Commitment to sustainable energy

After the stop of the winter months, the appointment with the fashion fairs returns.
To the cry of #RestartTogether, the fashion greats met first in Florence, then in Milan. In fact, the summer of 2021 marked the great return of Italian trade shows and trade fairs in attendance.
The first fashion show to return to attendance was Pitti which, with the Pitti Uomo and Pitti Bimbo kermesse, held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 30 June to 2 July, involved 6,000 operators in the sector, of which 4,000 buyers for the 30th % from abroad.
The first physical event in the sector to reopen the stands at Fieramilano Rho is Milano Unica, now in its 33rd edition. The two-day fashion show, on 6 and 7 July, hosted 270 exhibitors, of which 224 were Italians and 46 were foreigners. The Companies showed 3100 accredited companies at the entrance (+ 42% of international visitors compared to last September) the collections of high-end fabrics and accessories for men, women and children for the winter season 2022-23.

The balance of Pitti and Milano Unica is more than positive. Despite the pandemic scenario, the two trade fairs have, in fact, recorded an increase in buyers of about 30% compared to September 2020. Thanks to the vaccination campaign, it was, in fact, also possible to welcome a greater number of foreign visitors.
The fashion supply chain was among the sectors most affected by the impact of the pandemic on world trade. This is why today more than ever there is a great desire to restart and make the Made in Italy banner fly high. Moreover, if the number of visitors has decreased compared to the pre-pandemic period, the quality has risen and with it the desire to improve further.
